Who Is Going to Win Super Bowl 50? Careful When You Answer!

Imagine going to the Super Bowl as part of the winning team and then being sent home just four days before the big game! Ryan Murphy, a safety for the Denver Broncos, just suffered this fate. On top of it, he is a rookie and just blew the chance of getting one of the coveted Super Bowl Rings!

On Tuesday, February 2nd, Ryan, his brother and another man were stopped by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department at a Motel 6 as part of a prostitution sting. The unidentified woman was cited as was Ryan’s brother. Ryan was questioned but not cited or charged with any wrongdoing.

Too bad Ryan will be going home to Denver to watch the Super Bowl from his couch. The Broncos issued a statement:

“Although practice squad safety Ryan Murphy was not cited by police, we decided it was best for the team if we continued our preparations for Super Bowl 50 without him. Ryan is returning to Denver but his status as a practice squad player has not changed at this time.”

The Bronco’s statement “…at this time” makes one wonder if he will be dropped from the team.

If you are betting on the Super Bowl winner or are predicting a winner, maybe you should just kick back and wait to see how many more players are sent home; after all, this IS the NFL! What happens is there are not enough players left to field two teams? I heard a rumor that a couple of local high school teams were being asked to play Super Bowl 50, just in case.
